Apartment, garage or street parking: how a mobile mechanic works where you park

A mobile mechanic can work in a carport, an apartment garage, a visitor space or at the curb — what matters is a level, solid surface and a safe spot to open the hood. Tell us where the car is when you book and we plan the visit around it.

Carports and apartment garages

Fine for batteries, starters, alternators, diagnostics and most brake jobs — the hood opens and the car can be jacked on a level slab. Low ceilings only rule out what needed a lift anyway. For gated lots, give us the gate code or meet us at the entrance; we can also walk the tools in from the street.

Street parking

We pick a level stretch and keep the job inside the car's footprint. Tell us the block: permit zones and street-sweeping signs change every few meters in the Valley, and we read the sign before we jack. If the street is sloped or the shoulder unsafe, we find a better spot together — a visitor space, a lot you can use, a quiet side street.

Work parking lots

Some of the best places to work: flat, wide, and you are upstairs getting on with your day. Most employers allow it; tell us where you park and when you are there.

What to have ready

The key, the year, make and model, what the car is doing, and the exact spot — row, level, gate. That is everything; you do not need to be standing by the car for most jobs, only reachable by phone.

Related questions

  • For the hand-over and the estimate, yes — after that, most jobs only need you reachable. Tell us how you want to be updated and we text.

  • A visitor space, the curb outside, or a nearby lot you can use — we choose with you when we book. Batteries and diagnostics take up no more room than the car itself.

Fixed before the day starts.
