What we collect

This website has no contact form and collects nothing you type. There is no sign-up, no account and no field to fill in. The only way to reach us is to call or text the number on the page.

When you call or text, we receive what you choose to share in that conversation — your number, and whatever you tell us about the car. That is a conversation with a mechanic, handled the way any phone call is.

What we use it for

To call or text you back about your request, come to the car, and do the work you hire us for. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Text messages

If you text us first, Frank's Mobile Mechanic 24/7 may reply to you about that request — never marketing, and never a list you did not join, because there is nothing on this site to join one with. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and we stop.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. Google sets its own cookies on your device to do that, and receives your IP address, which it uses to approximate your city and then discards.

We never send Google your name or your phone number. The one thing you type that it does receive is a ZIP code, if you use the “Check if we can come to you” box: the five digits and whether we cover them, so we can see which areas people ask about.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, the analytics tag is never requested at all — nothing is measured and no cookie is set. It also stays switched off on every address other than franksmobilemechanic247.com.

Three things are stored on your own device, by your browser, and never sent anywhere on their own.

The ZIP you last typed into the ZIP check is remembered under the name fmm-zip, so the field is filled in when you come back. It stays on your device and you can clear it with your site data.

When you arrive, your browser keeps one small note under fmm-attribution — which link brought you here and which page you landed on, so our own visit counts can tell a Google listing apart from a search. R28: with the booking form gone it no longer travels anywhere with a request, because there is no request to attach it to. It holds no name and no number, it is not a cookie, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

Your motion preference, if you use the “Pause motion” control, is kept under fmm-motion the same way as the ZIP: just the word on or off, on your device until you clear your site data.

Where it lives and how long

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and forwarded to us. We keep lead information for up to 2 years so we can honour follow-ups and any written warranty, then delete it.

What this site is

The pages here are general information about mobile auto repair and about how we work. They are not a diagnosis of your car and not a promise about it. Cars get diagnosed in person, where they sit, not from a web page.

Estimates

Anything said by phone or by text is a conversation, not a price. You get a written estimate before any work starts, and nothing starts until you approve it.

Photos, video and copy

The photographs, video and writing on this site are ours. Illustrative studies are labelled as such where they appear. Please do not republish any of it as your own — if you want to use something, ask first.

Information changes

Our service area, hours and the work we take on change over time. We update these pages when they change, but we cannot promise every page is current at the moment you read it. When a detail matters, call and ask.
